Well, you did rather shoot yourself in the foot launching it late at night on a weekday...

Looks good, though. Hopefully more people will join soon (probably in the morning) and make it thrive <3

Hello Caroline. Just been looking at the site and it is looking good. Had my Candles burning, while relaxing. I have not done that for a long time. Maybe this could be a new start, to a new Path-way for me. More relaxing, and less thinking....

Thanks Stephen. Yes, its been quite a hectic few hours on line getting it up and running. I realised once I started that it has to really be done oin one go as no one wants to join a half created site... but on the other hand creating a network without members is a bit odd. I hope this will be a new start for you and for us too. Enjoy the candles.

Good to join you again Caroline. Yup, still up for the chaplaincy - will fill out the application ASAP and will check travel arrangements for Leicester. Glad you like the photo - yes, I learnt with my first daughter how invaluable Lego can be!

Grounded in Faith: Psychotherapy and Pureland - paper presented at European Shin Conference 2012

Grounded in Faith: Psychotherapy and Pureland

Since the time of the Buddha people have looked to Buddhism as a source of salvation from their unhappiness and confusion. In the modern age, psychotherapy has become a route which many people choose to help them face and move beyond their personal suffering. Not surprisingly many Western therapists tend to gravitate towards Buddhist ideas and, conversely, Buddhists are often interested in exploring how their faith…
