If you are coming to a Tariki event and want to offer a lift to others or if you want to find a lift, please post your request/offer in the discussion thread. Make sure you include date, time, the event you are attending and what you are offering/requesting.

If someone offers you a lift please respect their generosity and stick with any arrangements you agree. It would be normal to offer petrol money even if this hasnt been requested.

Note that Tariki cannot be responsible for lifts offered or requested here. This group is in the public domain so dont put your private phone number or address up unless you are happy for them to be public - use the ning messaging to exchange this information. We dont know everyone on the site personally so use your common sense in accepting lifts.

I have a Ford Fiesta hatchback and and am offering lifts from the St Albans area to the Buddhist Therapists Forum/Retreat Day weekend in Narborough on 19/20 March. Depending on people's schedules, we could leave north London/south Herts on the Friday evening (18/03) or early Saturday morning (19/03). We'd return on the Sunday evening (20/03). I'm requesting a petrol contribution, if possible.

I drive over from Coventry for events at Tariki, and I'm happy to give lifts if I'm coming.

Grounded in Faith: Psychotherapy and Pureland - paper presented at European Shin Conference 2012

Grounded in Faith: Psychotherapy and Pureland

In the modern age, psychotherapy has become a route which many people choose to help them face and move beyond their personal suffering. Not surprisingly many Western therapists tend to gravitate towards Buddhist ideas and, conversely, Buddhists are often interested in exploring how their faith…

Running Tide Article

I wrote this article for Running Tide back in January but it didnt get published and as Running Tide has only just come out, things had obviously moved on. I'm putting it up here because it seems like a pity to waste a good article - or even a mediocre one!
