Working together for a better world...
During this experiential seminar we will slow down and come into a more intimate relationship with body and Body-pace. As human beings our conscious embodied presence matters, for it is through the life of this fathom-long body that we sense ourselves in relationship with all of life and in reciprocal relationship with our vaster body – Earth. As the nervous system starts to settle, the illusory and compacted sense of ‘I’ as a separate identity begins to soften and have less substantiality. As the bodily felt-sense is experienced and followed we increasingly recognise the joined-up nature of life. Life as a Unity of existence where we are effecting and effected by all that we are in relationship with, the human and the wider than human world.
As practitioners, whether working outside in our broader nature, in the therapy room face to face, working on-line or by phone, the quality of presence that we bring to these encounters matters. We will explore attuning to breath, body, Body-pace, midline and the relational field as a place of imminence and insight during this seminar.
