I'm a 47yr single mum of 4. I work as a site coordinator for a horticultural charity working with adults with learning disabilities. I am also training to be a counsellor.

What is your involvement in Tariki?
none at the moment, but I'm in what it could offer
Are you a student or have you studied with us?
I am a student, but I haven't studied with Tariki yet.
What can you offer?
I'm not sure at the moment as I've only just joined
Are there things you would like to see Tariki doing or want to know more about?
I'm interested in training that you provide, so will looking at that initially

Welcome to the Tariki site. Its great to read about your interests which fit with a lot of what we are doing here. I hope you'll find some interesting material on the site. It is largely an information site at the moment but there are discussion groups on a number of themes. We'll add you to our mailing list too so you get details of Tariki activities and events as well.

Besides offering training and retreats, Tariki Trust is involved in chaplaincy, environmental action and community support. No one in Tariki is salaried and all work including teaching is voluntary or offered at rates which are well below the professional norms.
