Hi Liz

I wont be at the May block as I am here at the moment in England, just had my completion of A C with Caroline. I play to go onto the Diploma if I can get the practicalities sorted out so imagine that will mean coming back in October. Wonderful to hear you will do some facilitating, x x

Hi Liz, How are you? Yes I received my Diploma on the course block in February. All in a rush, because suddenly I needed it for something. Caroline was very helpful, apparently we (we were 4, 2 Diploma, 2 Advanced Certificate) sent her a lot of last minute things to assess.

But I would still like to come back. In the short term for the Therapists' Forums. I hope to see you there? I would be nice to catch up!

Love, Bodhakari

Hi Bodhakari, snooping in here - there was some talk at the therapists forum of a supervisor's/tutors course. Might be of interest. Nothing firm, but am thinking about possibilities in my spare time...

Hi Liz. Great to connect with you on the course block and really enjoyed your input. I have started the pre placement module and posted my first reply. After my initial reservations I am now looking forward to getting started with the placement which should be starting in April. Hope all is well with you and look forward to seeing you again in May. Gina x.

Grounded in Faith: Psychotherapy and Pureland - paper presented at European Shin Conference 2012

Grounded in Faith: Psychotherapy and Pureland

Since the time of the Buddha people have looked to Buddhism as a source of salvation from their unhappiness and confusion. In the modern age, psychotherapy has become a route which many people choose to help them face and move beyond their personal suffering. Not surprisingly many Western therapists tend to gravitate towards Buddhist ideas and, conversely, Buddhists are often interested in exploring how their faith…
