Working together for a better world...

I trained as a mindfulness trainer in 2004, with Vidyamala Burch and the Breathworks team. Between 2005 and 2010, I created a not for profit mindfulness project 'Breathworks Cardiff.' This was one of the first mindfulness providers in the Cardiff area and offered courses, day events and retreats for professionals and the general public. I was also a member of the Breathworks international training team, helping to train people to become accredited mindfulness trainers.
Since 2013 I have worked independently, delivering a variety of mindfulness courses for groups and on a one to one basis. Skype sessions are available where geography makes it impossilbe to meet face to face.
I have developed work with carers and with parents. I have also qualified through the Mindfulness in Schools Project to deliver mindfulness to 11-18 year olds and to teachers. I am looking forward to training in the pauseb course for 7-11year olds in October 2015.
I am also qualified in a range of body-work therapies, including aromatherapy and holistic massage. These body-based interventions can be supportive conditions for the deepening of awareness and enhance onex connection with the ways in which emotions are manifested in the body.
Currently I am in the early stages of training in Hakomi Psychotherapy. Whilst I am not qualified, the principle of this work are slowly beginning to inform my practice.
