Had an enquiry looking for people involkved in co-parenting. Any takers?

Dear Sir / Madam,

I was hoping this might be of interest to your community. I am casting for a BBC2 Documentary about co-parenting, which is two people in a platonic relationship conceiving and raising a child together, and I was wondering if any of your community members are co-parenting, or thinking about co-parenting, and would be interested in hearing more information about our documentary.

I have attached a flyer in case this is something you can share on your website, and I have included some more information below.

Finestripe Productions are currently beginning production on a new factual series for the BBC about the growing number of people in the UK and around the world who are choosing to conceive and raise a baby with a purely platonic partner.

We would like to talk in confidence to anyone with first-hand experience of co-parenting in a platonic partnership, or if they have decided to take the step of having a baby with a platonic partner and would like to share their story, we would love to hear from them.

The documentary will follow people through their co-parenting journey, exploring the dynamics of the platonic parenting style of raising a child, and as part of the process we will explore the support network which provides the legal, financial and emotional support available.

Essentially this is their co-parenting journey which we would love to share.

If you require any more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me on 0141 440 6993.

Thanks again,

Vanda

Grounded in Faith: Psychotherapy and Pureland

Since the time of the Buddha people have looked to Buddhism as a source of salvation from their unhappiness and confusion. In the modern age, psychotherapy has become a route which many people choose to help them face and move beyond their personal suffering. Not surprisingly many Western therapists tend to gravitate towards Buddhist ideas and, conversely, Buddhists are often interested in exploring how their faith…

I wrote this article for Running Tide back in January but it didnt get published and as Running Tide has only just come out, things had obviously moved on. I'm putting it up here because it seems like a pity to waste a good article - or even a mediocre one!
