Event Description

From October 5th - 7th. Join Bo Gort and Owen Okie for an integrally-informed wellbeing retreat/workshop. This is for anyone in search of better health and vitality, increased resilience and a desire to grow and flourish. In addition to supporting general wellbeing it is an opportunity to learn new ways of addressing any physical, emotional, mental or spiritual puzzles in your life. The more vitality you have the more you have to give to the world and to those you love (including yourself). We will be incorporating healthy eating and nutrition, body-based practices and meditations, therapeutic support, HeartMath’s approach to transforming stress into resilience, and EarthMind nature-based self-exploration. This will take place at Badrallach, our stunning retreat centre and will cost 150 GBP, including food. Lodging is separate depending on whether you want to camp, use the bothy, or stay in the holiday cottage.

Not surprisingly many Western therapists tend to gravitate towards Buddhist ideas and, conversely, Buddhists are often interested in exploring how their faith…

I wrote this article for Running Tide back in January but it didnt get published and as Running Tide has only just come out, things had obviously moved on. I'm putting it up here because it seems like a pity to waste a good article - or even a mediocre one!
